Feel The Chill!
~
So after work today I was a little sleepy feeling. I decided to stop at the mecca that is Starbucks to get a nice, cold Vinti Mocha Frappachino. They are really picky about how you order a drink at that place. Sometimes I just want to say, "May I please have a large, chocolate, Slurpee." I mean that's really what it is isn't it? Slurpees have been around for decades now! I want to just keep repeated that I want a large, chocolate Slurpee until they give in and give me the Vinti Mocha Frappachino without insisting that I play by their name game rules.

Ok, I'm getting off topic here.....back on track:

So I was ordering my nice cold drink to wake my sleep butt up, and the guy taking my order hands me my drink and says, "Enjoy the nice cool weather we are having today!"Um.......nice and cool? It was 101 degrees outside!!!! I guess that's nice and cool for Vegas in the summertime!

I can't stop laughing about the thought of ordering a chocolate slurpee! I'm a triple venti nonfat latte...what is that in layman's terms?

LOL! This reminds me of that scene in You've Got Mail where Tom Hank's Character writes to Meg Ryan's character:

"The whole purpose of places like Starbucks is for people with no decision-making ability whatsoever to make six decisions just to buy one cup of coffee. Short, tall, light, dark, caf, decaf, low-fat, non-fat, etc. So people who don't know what the hell they're doing or who on earth they are, can, for only $2.95, get not just a cup of coffee but an absolutely defining sense of self: Tall! Decaf! Cappuccino!"

Crack me up... love the rant about starbucks. They love to make up complicated names. P.S. I found your blog from the etsy forum. I will check out your etsy store too.
